One vertical, nine bands, and an amplifier that does the heavy lifting when the band is fading fast.

The IC-7300 does the listening. Its SDR waterfall makes FT8's crowded sub-bands easy to read at a glance, which matters most on a busy contest weekend when every 15-second cycle counts.

The ACOM 1010 switches bands automatically as the rig retunes, so there's no manual amp-tuning between FT8 sequences — it just keeps up.

Everything radiates from a single DX Commander Signature 9, a multi-band vertical fed with a single run of coax. It trades a forest of wire antennas for one mast, which suits a modest garden a lot better than a full antenna farm would.
